    All answers are welcome. :)

  • Hi Jugac64, thanks!
This is from the first Aerofly version.
Regarding the water, yes, most of us would like to see that more vibrant water again, but I'm afraid that's not possible.X/

  • Did the functioning gps sets in FS2 pay add-ons (as opposed to zoomable dumb tracking maps as in original FS) belong to Just Flight exclusively or did IPACS have their own area navigation software? We didn’t get any revelations.
The working computed nav data output of the 737-500 FMC/CDU map pages is actually the most comprehensive in FS4 and the situation awareness only (not able to steer the plane) fix lines and arcs of the Aerofly modern airliners shows that work has been done (- or partially acquired seeing that the -500 is IPACS work done on a bought-in base 737-200) already.

Do IPACS really have their own software development will to improve the operating aircraft simulation core functionality though? We are bound to get marketing friendly new buyer’s beginner-candy gimmicks.
We obviously have the Airbus empty meal trays popping up in the newly revised A380. Not even the skeletal remains of the first class menu’s fish.

Later….. (I’m a bit slow, missing the 350 news so fingers crossed I’ll eat my words and see some nice navigator’s treats explode in lovely Aerofly😘 The A350 page is nice and big, good reading for now!)

  • Among other things, you mention the 737 purchased from Milviz by chance.

I have my revelation: IPACS simply DELETED A LINE from the file. ;)

Unless keen volunteers could undertake to map out some coast lines for IPACS preferably in an organised manner. A series of territories could be enabled in turn. The activity of the forum shows that members feel invested in the success of the sim.
The visual impact of reflected light from little bodies of water, changing with the aircraft’s passage really brings a landscape to life. Being created from motivated users’ coast line data this could avoid the worse than nothing straight edge polygon ponds we sometimes see in other sims. As long as we don’t get the ghastly MSFS near perfect mirror image nonsense.

Re your new post. I’d love a 737-200 especially one with the earlier Fred Flintstone like autopilot. A minor modification for the Lufthansa launch 737-100 would be just fine too. The older the nav aids the better, I wish the Ju 52/3m and P-38 had Radio Range!

  • Excellent idea ! For those interested in mapping coastal lines, it would be best to start first with small lakes.

If IPACS could do a web version of this, so we can login and start working there, I think many of us would like to participate!
