I don't care whether this announcement comes once or twice; the fact that something like this even triggers a discussion is ridiculous. There are really more important things to do. 😂

Airbus A350 Feedback and Suggestions

I’m starting to dislike this aircraft because it seems unfinished.
Managed descent mode is horrible and keeps pitching the aircraft down at 5000ft/min before capturing a more normal descent rate.
The managed airspeed is also incorrect and mismatched to the FMS / flight plan. -
Do what a real pilot would do, adapt and get by. I’m sure you know how to fly it appropriately to get the job done. You can still enjoy the sim’.
Every plane flies with some defects signed off. -

The managed airspeed is also incorrect and mismatched to the FMS / flight plan.Yes, the controlled descent is horrible, the plane descends at 5000 feet/minute, unfortunately this has been reported before and fixing it doesn't seem to be a big deal for ipacks, there are a lot of bugs in the simulator and it's quite disappointing to see new updates coming out but the bugs are still there.

Is it a bug that the TOD mark and the descending line appear on the map even though it is not yet TOD? This is very annoying.

I tried idling the engine early and still heard the "retard" noise twice.

So let’s say you float on the RETARD call and is at the same Heights above the ground the plane will go retard again as your at the altitude or in this case where by the throttle is set to idle the system will still go retard as you were in the criteria for RETARD to be said again

Another factor I would line to add in is auto land also and config

Because? Autoland works pretty well in the A350 I think.

It’s very well done tbh as you don’t have a 350 smashing into the runway. Usally you get 2 retards and above if you are holding the Retard Criteria of 10-20 feet above the runway

From what I can see, the "retard" sounds seems to continue even when the engine is at idle.
What about the actual plane?

Jan I asked my supervisor about it he called me an idiot and said that the devs may have used a A320 sound instead
