I’m sure IPACS already knows the constant requests for free cam on mobile, and this thread is to hopefully provide a sort of push for players wanting this feature. A large portion of aerofly users are mobile, and free cam is available on PC but not for mobile. This feature is highly requested by the community, so I was sort of shocked to see it not included in this update. If IPACS were to see this thread, could you please give us reason on why free cam isn’t already added on mobile or why it couldn’t get added?

Free cam for mobile devices.

It's not what you think. IPACS has not actually promised to develop a free camera on the mobile phone, but the forum has been calling for it. I think this is more like the illusion of players. Of course, I also hope to have this function, because it is really interesting.

Maybe we should do a petition or host A poll vote for how many people want a free cam. And maybe Itll get the attention that it needs for IPACS to bring one into Mobile.

How is it a shock it wasn't implemented when we never said that we would add it in for the update? Are you surprised that your own expectations didn't turn out to be true?
The reason why it's not implemented is simple because there is no screen space left to put the camera controls in for that. You would have to disable flight controls whenever you want to use the camera or force to turn on the autopilot or copilot.

Another mobile flight simulator has a free camera and it functions well. They use a fairly similar flight control layout to Aerofly. But I haven’t used that sim in years though so I don’t remember exactly how it worked.

Why can't you just accept IPACS's decision? What other flight simulators have is irrelevant here.

I thought of it more as something for replays to watch your landing from a different a view. The flyby view could be used for this and in the settings players could set the free cam at a certain altitude or airspeed is what I envisioned.

Why can’t I push for new features to be added so that Aerofly will continuously improve?
Aerofly FS Global is easily the most beautiful mobile flight simulator. Zero competition and nothing comes close. It would be a waste to not have a free camera so that we can see everything at different angles.
For example, Sint Maarten is created incredibly well in Aerofly. If we had a free camera, we could recreate the iconic Maho Beach landing angle.
What other flight simulators have is absolutely relevant here. It shows that it’s possible to implement a free camera if both simulators already have similar control layouts. -

IPACS stated the reason above. If it were that easy, IPACS would have done it long ago.And trying to force the developers to do something is completely out of the question.

So you’re telling me another mobile flight simulator, which is a pretty low quality one, managed to do something IPACS can’t? Doubt it.
This might get deleted, but here’s the other mobile flight simulator. As you can see, they overlayed the free camera controls on top of the flight controls.

You can still submit inquiries if you have nothing else to do. IPACS will probably take care of other things.

Sure thing. Repeatedly asking for something is the best way to get it implemented in Aerofly, such as custom-made Minneapolis Airport.

Long live selfishness 🤦

I’m literally just saying you’re going on topic, this thread is about free cam. Not airports in Africa.
Just go easy on him lads😆😆😆

Long live selfishness 🤦
Exactly! You get it!

However, I could imagine that IPACS will no longer consider the wishes of individual guys in the future. Too much trouble in the forum 😂On the other hand, anything we get can only be beneficial for everyone. Good luck 👍

It's quite annoying that they're comparing simulators with very different philosophies. Aerofly FS Global and Infinity Flight are completely different simulators. Just because Infinity Flight has implemented tons of cameras and free camera doesn't mean it can be done in Aerofly FS Global as well. It all depends on various factors, depending on the graphics engine they're using, and it's obvious that the graphics engine Infinity Flight uses is very different from the one Aerofly FS Global uses. Only the developers will know when they'll be able to implement that camera, and if they say it's not possible for now, they'll know why. We should be grateful for having one of the best simulators on mobile.
I'd also like that free camera, as it would allow you to record a video of aircraft spotting, but the developers haven't said anything about whether they'll implement it or not, and if they haven't, they have their reasons. The same goes for the taxi camera, which is used on the Airbus A380 and Airbus A350, which I'd like to use when taxiing to the runway or to the airport terminal gate. The developers have already given their reasons for not implementing it yet, as it would consume more resources.
It's one thing to politely ask if there's any possibility of implementing a free camera, and that's acceptable. But to come and demand that developers implement something they can't yet implement or haven't said they'll implement on mobile devices, and even worse, to compare them with other simulators, that's out of order.

The current problem according to Jet-Pack is that the free camera can’t overlay the flight controls, but that other simulator which has similar flight controls managed to do it.
On the other hand the taxi camera clearly should not be expected on mobile. That’s practically having two Aerofly applications/screens run on one device, so it’s no shock that mobile can’t handle it.
IPACS has done incredible things with Aerofly. I have faith that they can make the free camera happen.
