Anyone else having issues with helicopters after the A350 update? They feel way slower, and maneuvering is much more sluggish—almost like something is holding them back, making it hard to gain speed or control them properly.
Helicopter Issues After the Update

Yes I flew one this morning it was at a -10 degree pitch because I wasnt looking and it wasnt gaining speed and didnt go into the ground
-
I noticed with the R22 that it became much calmer. It was as if it had been dumbed down to make it easier to fly.

Same I was flying the Robison too

They need to fix it, miss flying the helicopters, how can we ask for this ? Or this is not considered as a “bug”

I have got 60 fps and I still got this issue. I restarted my phone and now everything works fine.

Man, set “no” to limit frame rate option on the app and it worked, tks for your advice

I have no to the frame rate 😂😂😂😂 I don't care as long as I can play I'm fine

I have also noticed this with the Blackhawk and EC135 aswell.
-
Even with full frame rates my R22 is unresponsive and falsely pseudo-stabilised. I fly it with horrible exaggerated inputs and it gives me pilot induced oscillations from soft and delayed control response. It is truly awful and completely unacceptable.

I think it flies half way between a Cessna and a hot air balloon, more like the balloon.
-
The R22 flies much more smoothly now, but I can't find anything negative about the helicopters on Android. The EC135's speed was previously around 160, but now it's around 150 max. I still have to figure it out.

Yes but it is a helicopter, it should be impossible to fly without a significant amount of skill or as close to that as is possible on a mobile device. This is not easy to fly, it is easy to wallow in a more or less straight line, controlling it in a remotely authentic fashion is sadly out of the question.
This has to be a response to some beginners demanding that it is made ‘more realistic’. Try, try and try again is just too much trouble. -

But I like challenges like that. Flying a helicopter is just that. Eine Königs Disziplin 👌

Android Version 1.05.01.05 (20250411)
6 years old but very top spec back then Sony Xperia 1 phone.
Trying my Android with Limited frame rates selected the R-22 is perfectly fine. The dreadful handling must be Apple only.

I never liked IOS, I've been an Android user from the beginning 👍

If you're interested, go take a little spin on FS4 with an A350 or 380 and do a simple little approach at LSGG and LSZH and tell me again about your FPS experience. I think there is a serious general problem, but I don't know what they think about it in Tubingen?

Yes, the R22 is the most difficult helicopter to fly in the simulator, you can fly it with very fine steering movements. Helicopters are generally unstable, unlike airplanes. It tries to show a landing between obstacles. The point is that in continuous slow motion the helicopter is more stable than when stationary. (I may have to explain this landing to the Swiss aviation authority again...
