Hello, I am curious if buying the aerofly fs 2 version from someone else will work on my computer when I activate the access code, what does the person who gives you the simulator have to do so that the code will work for you again?
It depends on which version of the software was purchased. If it's a Steam version then it's tied to the Steam account and it probably won't be possible to transfer it. If it's a boxed version then only a single installation of the sim can be activated at a time as far as I know and you might have to get in contact with our support team to be able to activate the software.
My recommendation however would be to get the much newer Aerofly FS 4, which was released in '22, so almost three years ago now. And Aerofly FS 4 is still being updated and has a lot of great features that FS 2 does not have. Aerofly FS 2 however was released in 2017, so it's quite old by now and it's no longer being updated.
Generally, activation codes for Aerofly FS 2 are tied to the original user’s account and can’t be reused once activated. Even if someone gives you their code, it likely won’t work unless it’s never been redeemed before. The best and safest option is to buy a new license to avoid issues with activation or support.
