So I’m currently doing a pretty long flight, and I was editing the recording, but when I came back to the game well one it refreshed (which is normal) but 2 it put me back on the taxiway. I was at 26,000ft originally, then I got reset back at the taxiway. Please fix this issue, this is starting to become very annoying. If this is a device problem then I understand.![]()

After leaving Aerofly your position is sometimes not saved.

It would be nice to have a flight resume just like Infinite Flight

I made a thread about that before, but IPACS said they couldn’t due to technological limitations if im remembering correctly.

What do you mean by editing the recording? Did you leave Aerofly to edit the screen recording?
Or do you mean the flight recording by aerofly?
You can resume the flight from any part of the current recording (past 30s to 1 min) a.k.a. instant replay and "go back in time".

I meant I recorded some of the flight with the built in recording thing that Apple has. I edited it in CapCut.
Well, the thing about the replay is that the game refreshed it didn’t save my position, it just put me on the ground. I spawned in where it put me, and the replay said 0 seconds.

That is probably a very memory intensive process which will close Aerofly in the background and force a restart of the app when you open it again. That means the last location that was saved is being restored and that location is saved when you go from the flight back to the main menu usually. So if you want to make sure you are at the same position then go back to the main menu first before switching the app which can kill the aerofly app running in the background at any time (without saving).

Ok, thanks so much. I will try this in the future to see if it works. I think I’ll just complete the flight first then edit it just to make sure.
