    Hey there,

I just did some fun flights in the A380 using my Xbox Controller and noticed an Issue:

Whenever I use the up or down button to use the thrust lever, the A/T gets disengaged.

    For example:

If i press down to put the thrust lever from FLEX down to CLB after take off,
the A/T gets disengaged and I have to reengge it manually.

Yes, this intentional. This works identical for all aircraft, like the Boeing aircraft for example where the auto throttle would just reactivate and ignore all of your inputs leaving you with no throttle control. The better option is to allow throttle control but to just disable auto thrust. This is especially useful when flying from the outside view.

Ok, so that's like the disadvantage of not using a real joystick, right?
I just tried the same thing again with my actual joystick and everything works fine:

If I pull back the throttle from FLEX to CLB after take off the A/T gets engaged
also the whole A/T logic seems to be working just fine with my "thrustmaster".

That's because the throttle axis of the joystick is an absolute value, always sending the current joystick position. On the x-box controller it's an incremental step command (press and hold).
