Huge FPS drop in A350 after takeoff

  • Just after the takeoff from EDDH or EDDF or any near airport on A350 framerate drops to 1-2 FPS and then never comes back to normal. I`ve tried to move Aerofly from HDD to SSD, because I firsty thought it could be the reason, but eventually it is not.

So I`ve also tried taking off from much more distant airports like LFPG or LEMD and nothing similar happens there, everything runs smooth. This happens only with A350 in this particular area (not the whole Germany), all is okay when flying other planes in any area. I play on PC and have Global Scenery turned on, all on ultra.

If you haven't read it yet, it's worth a quick read, although it's not listed in the correct thread. ;)

You do realise you appealed for a FS4 scenery check run in the mobile helicopter apparent slowness thread? I presumed you had with remarkable sophistication suspected some pan-aerofly unified systemic fault.

There might well be some sim clock rate difficulty at play in both sides of Aerofly, a software thing not directly related to the users’ hardware in use?

  • Thank you for the reminder, I had almost forgotten. Happy Easter to you too Tomfa. I hope you enjoy the tradition holiday and I too will try to get a little chocolate easter egg on my walk to the pub to watch the Sunday football (actual football that is).

Happy Easter to every forum member and I hope you all have similar enjoyment. You’ll Never Walk Alone🧣

  • Same happened to me, never saw this issue in AFS4, must be some bug in the A350. Interesting when this happened, I reviewed the GPU and CPU load and it looks normal (I don’t have any scenery or user content installed in AFS4,)

    Best regards, Juan

  • Unfortunately the A350 continues its route randomly.
After a test just now, from its takeoff on runway 18 at EDDH, the descent into hell continues, 2 FPS!!!
Consequently, everything is still OK for me at EDDF, 96 FPS. It passes or it breaks.
