Strange black rectangle?

In the region of neighboring France and without additional texture

Has anyone here seen this same scenery? Consequently, as you approach this area, this rectangle disappears. Any additional information is welcome, Thanks

You can get there from Cervens (FR) by crossing Lake Geneva (CH), heading northwest, or from Geneva. The area is already visible at 15,000 feet.
