brakes locked on

    It doesn't happen every time I jump on the sim but have been finding lately that sometimes I choose my start location on the runway or at a terminal and for some reason even after applying throttle power, the aircraft I'm flying just won't move.

    Park brake is off, I'm not holding down on the brakes manually and yet won't budge.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

    There is a brake assistance which keeps holding the brakes for you until you advance the throttle or until the parking brake is set/released.

    This helps to stay in position after you have come to a full stop and hold the brakes manually at 100% and it's active as well at the beginning of the flight.

    You can turn this assistance off in the settings. Just look for auto brakes in the assistance settings. Them the aircraft just starts rolling at idle thrust like in the real world and you will need to set the parking brake to prevent that.
