Aerolfy is very realistic and people that fly with cold and dark I suppose also demand a more realistic IRS alignment. In simulators like MSFS there are settings in the aircrafts where you can set the time of the IRS alignment to realistic, instant or a specific amount of minutes. I’d love to see such settings in Aerolfy too but as an external setting since we don’t have tablets in planes. It would increase the realism:)

Since there are no settings for this and adding them would be confusing to many users who don't know what the setting does we 're keeping the alignment time at a somewhat fast speed for now. Sure, you'd have to wait 8 minutes or more in the real world but that's fun maybe once or twice and in the long run most users would probably switch back to a faster alignment time anyway.

Why do you think this would confuse to many users? You could maybe add advanced settings for more professional players.

While I understand the desired for experienced players to customize the experience even more that would still be a feature not being used by the overwhelming majority of players. So our development time is better spent for features that benefit the majority or customers not just a handful.

Yes it is, that's why we need to assist new players better and we continue to work towards that goal over time.
