• Hello,
While flying the A321 in Aerofly FS Global Mobile, sometimes the A/THR (Autothrust) doesn't activate properly. It looks like it's engaged, but the speed keeps increasing and exceeds the selected target. I have to manually reduce the speed. This issue happens intermittently. Even when thrust is at 55% and A/THR is active, the speed does not stay steady at the selected value.
As I said, this happens occasionally. I want this problem to be resolved. This is not a device-related issue, so please do not ask about my device. I'm sure others are experiencing the same issue as well.

Are you sure? There's a certain procedure for activating ATH. You have to press the ATH button, then set the throttle to climb position, and normally it's fine - it manages according to the speed you request and what the plane wants to do (climb, descend or keep the same flight level).

I have full knowledge about the flight. As I said, this problem occurs from time to time.

  • Most likely the auto thrust is not in SPEED mode. This can be dangerous if you fly manually which is why some airlines prohibit such operation in the real world. Either engage the autopilot or force the auto thrust into speed mode, e.g. by using a vertical mode like vertical speed or altitude hold or just disengage auto thrust if you fly manually.

During approach you need to press the MCDU activate approach phase so that the auto thrust decelerates to the approach speed, depending on flaps.

I guess you don't understand me. Sometimes it doesn't activate while in cruise flight. Even when the THR CLB and A/THR buttons are active, it accelerates without cutting the gas. It doesn't stay constant at the set speed.
