During my river visual approach at KDCA in the A321, I selected the VAPP(144kt for flap 3 config) it falls below to 130-135KT not accelerating quick to maintain it then suddenly speed back up to the VAPP then idle again trying not to go above it which then leads to the oscillation in between those and almost stalling. I only resolved it by going around which fixed it. I’ve done the flight twice to see if it would happen again and it did, I’ve only encountered this at that specific airport and aircraft. Can this possibly be fixed?
