Hey I'm relatively new to flight sims and I've recently learnt how to do an ILS approach but what baffles me is that the plane I mostly use, the B737-800,keeps banking sharply to the extreme right as soon as I capture the localiser, I'm then forced to disengage the autopilot, line myself up again with the runway and press the VOR/LOC button to interceptthe localiser once more, but again it just turns to the extreme left...funny thing is it catches the glideslope and moves In the correct path vertically but in the wrong direction...when I do however try an ILS to dubai, it works but other for airports, it doesnt😭
LOCALISER keeps banking my plane to the extreme right After Capture

What ILS course did you set in the mode control panel (MCP)? The autopilot first turns towards the course you've set in the MCP and then captures the localizer when the deviation remains small for a while.
If you have not set the ILS frequency manually and just have the Auto-Tuning assistance active please advise. In that case please tell us which airport, which ILS you are using and from where you are approaching from.

I set the course from the navigation route menu...and I entered it both from the captain and Co-pilot side...and for the frequency, I did input it manually,...I do arm the vor/loc before I intercept, but for whatever reason it always intercepts right as it turns for final approach and the result, it's captured but only for a few split secs before it moves off to the left again as the plane rolls agressively to the right...I've tried this at Auckland(ILS 05R ARAD5B) and Denver(ILS 16R KAILE1) and more and the result is just the same...the plane keeps lining up parallel to the runway I'm supposed to land on
I found the problem thanks...turns out I was using the wrong course heading...I realised it after I turned auto tun9ng on and compared to the course heading with the one I was inputing...now I'm confused as to where I get the correct course

On the LEGS page you can find the runway course next to the RWY waypoint. Alternatively, you could go to the navigation/location menu, which will also tell you the runway course.
