New plane Lockheed TriStar

  • Hi IPACS do you have any plans for the future to bring in the game Lockheed TriStar?

It’s a very interesting aircraft and very revolutionary as well… but in a flight simulator I don’t really see a reason to add it. It doesn’t operate anymore in reallife and it’s quite unknown. Only a few people would actually fly this aircraft, same with the Concorde even tho these are magnificent pieces of engineering. Even its competitor would be a better option because of its notoriety, the DC11. It also still operates as a freighter.

All in all tho, I’m not a fan of adding aircrafts that aren’t in service anymore or just very rare. The time costly development seems kinda wasted and there are much better alternatives apart of Boeing and Airbus… Aren’t you also waiting for Embraer, Gulfstream, Twin Otter, Pilatus or ATR to get finally added to Aerofly?

It wouldn't be a bad idea to add the Lockheed L 10-11 tristar, The drawback that you will see is that it is an analog airplane in the sense of the cabin, that is to say like the 737-500, that is to say there are no liquid crystal screens, and it would be somewhat complicated to develop but not Impossible.

I agree with what they say about McDonnell Douglas MD-11, It would be somewhat easier to develop since it has a liquid crystal display, and it's obviously an aircraft that more airlines have had.

I also already told the developers that this would be one of the planes that I would like to see implemented or added to the simulator in the not too distant future.
