My MS Pro joystick finally quit, so I'm looking for a replacement to use with my STEAM based AeroFly FS4. I'm flying on a Windows 11 PC. I'm going the low-cost route; and I'm looking at the Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS 4. Anybody out there using this HOTAS? If so, I would appreciate hearing from you about your experiences, especially ease of mapping the control buttons to FS4 features for a VR user environment.

Hello,
I use this T Flight Hotas X controller with rudder pedals and I think it is really good option.
Joystick has adjustable backforce and there are 12 buttons to use if I am correct. It is really easy to set buttons up for Aerofly. Only thing which I dont really like but I get used to it is the controller feels really light and sometimes when I need to do fast movement (fighterjet or aerobatic planes) joystick slightly get up in the air.
Overall, it is really good option for the price. I recommend to buy it with rudder pedals. I paid for both together like 180€ which is not that much for that.

Surprising as it may be, I just use an Xbox controller for the planes (F-18, A320 only), an an Airbus joystick for the Helicopters. Oh, and I use a mouse for clicking stuff. Less is more, nice an simple.
