I have the Captain s pack with separate throttle quadrant and all, but it lives in my cupboard. I have ended up using a Logitech Extreme 3D instead because I found that I could never get the throttle to work properly the the TCA. I have two throttle settings using the TCA, 0% or 100%. If I slide the throttle up and down three or four times it lets me use it properly, but always to start the flight it will be either 0 or 100. I stopped using the Quadrant and used just the stick but the results were the same. The older Logitech Extreme works perfectly which is a bit puzzling. Anyone else had issues with the TCA Airbus gear?

My experience with the TCA quadrants is that after booting up FS 4 on my Mac, I first move all the buttons, switches and levers completely through to synchronize them with the FS 4. If I don't do this, unwanted reactions can occur the first time I move one of these elements. When I do it, everything works fine.

Am using the TCA Captain pack, thrust levers work fine, all detents match the sim. My only issue was that one lever was slightly out of synch with the other lever, so I assigned one lever to both engines. I think the issue is down to my particular throttle though, this is cheap equipment designed for mass production, so the build quality is not high-end.

Are you using Mac or Windows?
Per default Aerofly FS should assign all of the thrust levers correctly for the TCA throttle quadrant. You can also reset the device to default in the controls settings, under input devices. Check that the device is calibrated correctly, both in Windows in the game controller setting as well as in Aerofly FS, again in the input devices menu.

Thanks for your replies. I had exactly the same problem about 3 years ago with FS2 and the throttle. I do not know why it has suddenly recurred, but will try all your suggestions. Thank you again.
