• so I did post a thread regarding the a333 yesterday , yet jetpack did indeed almost trash it so

although I know that the message was clear regarding the fact that the a330 wasn't in development currently, we need at least to know

when would we expect the development to start, cause I feel that its a bit odd to say that areofly won't be updating new aircrafts anymore

So, please jet-pack, feel free to discuss the issue with us, inorder for all of us to be aware of all future plans

    and, thanks in advance

  • I get where you’re coming from,it’s exciting to look forward to new aircraft. But I think we have to remember that announcing development too early can put a lot of unwanted pressure on the team. Every time they confirm something, they end up getting bombarded with constant “when is it coming?” questions, which can actually slow progress and make the process more stressful for them.

The best approach is to let the devs share updates when they’re confident and ready. That way, they can focus on building the aircraft instead of fielding endless status requests. I’m sure when work on the A330 begins, they’ll make an official announcement. Until then, patience really helps them deliver the quality we all want.

  • With the A350, IPACS had informed the forum very early, months before the A350 could be delivered. Unfortunately, some here in the forum did not want to have the patience to wait until the delivery. In my opinion, there were some quite unpleasant contributions.

I understand IPACS very well that they will only make announcements when something is ready for delivery - I would not do it any other way here in the forum.

If you go through previous threads about the A330 coming to the simulator you will learn that the developers ain't gonna make that aircraft, just by reading Jan's responses to this specific aircraft it's clear that they won't make it😅,, it ain't coming bro just get used to the current planes in the simulator and wait for variants.

    And here lies a question

    why???

why are they a bit blunt regarding the refusal of the a333 update specifically

it should have been there before the a350 and the 787

I really hope they develop it cause they are by far the best mobile flight sim, and having their app in hand makes flying other simulators irrational and pretty hard

especially that you keep comparing the graphics and the physics frequently

    totally rational,

but the idea is that they aren't actually putting its development in their plans

they reached out before and said they wont be developing any new aircrafts currently

  • Saying the A330 should have been developed before the 787 and A350 is your opinion.

Yes, it’s a popular aircraft, but so are the 787 and A350.

Personally I’m happy we got the A350 first.

  • totally rational,

    Think about it this way:

Spend 10 months building the A330

    Or spend 10 months building 4 aircraft variants (made-up examples being the 737 MAX 8, A321neo, 787-9, 777-200ER).

There is a lot of value in expanding current aircraft families because they are much less resource-intensive compared to building a new aircraft from scratch.

The A330 will eventually come, but the developers have made it clear variants are the priority right now.

Firstly, I don’t think a330 needs to be developed from IPACS for a while. Since, there is someone who is already making a A333 for FS4 (probably, since he mentioned it’s not for mobile at the first)

Secondly, do you realise making aircraft isn’t easier? If you cannot understand, go look at x plane 12 how much time those devs take to make a study level aircrafts for that sim. The same amount of time is used by IPACS to build new aircrafts (IPACS seem to be actually faster than those x plane snail payware devs like FF) in my opinion

Be patient and you will get great new contents/ aircrafts for Aerofly in the future. Another thing, just because devs are reluctant to reply about the specified aircraft doesn’t mean they won’t make that. Capt Boeing please stop assuming Things incorrectly. They would add in the future depending on the aircraft poll. how did a350 came to IPACS attention for the next aircraft? It’s because it got lots of votes somewhere in some poll which was already created long time ago.

Until we wait for new aircrafts, why don’t we enjoy with the existing ones? We still have a lot Aerofly fs 4/ mobile needs to be improved to come at least to the level of x plane. (Apologies if I’m bringing other sims here.) we need

    - new graphics ( newly natural looking sky colours ( default ones look dated and fsxish)

    - Immersion packs. (If possible IPACS can make for a320,777,787 which would come as a true study level for pc ) my opinion

    - better aerial detailed water (around the globe)

    - better touchdown physics

    - need new more 3D real life airports (which I believe IPACS is developing behind the scenes for each updates.. I personally like their approach on implementing these irl looking airports through streaming tech instead of downloading all which would make our storage burst in pc and it won’t be possible in mobile)

    - crash animations ( or maybe failures would be better than crash animations as they take more resources in mobile to stimulate them)

So, yes we have more things that Aerofly yet to implement to make it stand at its place of competition. Let’s just leave the remaining to the dev. I understand being here for 6 yrs in Aerofly community how IPACS develops all aircrafts as they take time to make perfect aircrafts like a350, which for me looked miles better than FF a359 which, looks clunky to fly in XP 12.

    Long story short:

    1. IPACS is busy. Im just a random guy, so I don't know what they have planned. Developing a completely new aircraft takes time.

    2. Users are already creating the a330, check the fs4 section of the forum, specifically user content. If they're already creating it, why spend more time creating it yourself if the users are doing a good job already

  • I think that IPACS would make next a A318 or a B737 max8.

It is always easier to developing a longer or shorter Version of a already existing aircraft with a same or simlar cockpit (a318, a350-900, b737-300, 400, 600, 700 or max8, b748, b787-800 or -900 or a other crj version) as developing a complete new.

A A318 or a B737 max8 would, I think make for IPACS the most sence.

Changed the title of the thread from “Awaiting a response” to “A330 thread #7”.
  • ok dudes,

it seem like the demand for the a333 is really as we are already number 7 in line awaiting departure😂😂😂😂😂

so, we hope that it actually a military secret "that everyone knows about obviously", and we will be having an a333 at our hands in one year

and I think that one year is enough, " at least I do hope so"

what I was really curious about was the fact tha they are actually taking the development into consideration , " we didn't receive a clear answer but it's a military secret as we said"

I really really really hope that aerofly do the a330, cause I won't be able to fly any simulator with this particular aircraft except them actually

they really rose the bar, by their cutting edge aircrafts and I do hope they continue

  • I am in the same situation but with the 767, as no mobile sim has a decent 767.

But don’t wanna push the developers, as the workload they have is huge and maintaining and improving a game isn’t easy.

Also I think they have mentioned they will know do short versions of the aircraft we already have, so that ain’t bad. Would be great having a A350-900 in the game for the routes.

Overall I would prefer equally on them to improve small aspect before adding new aircraft, like the sound be have in the A350-1000 when landing. Would be great having it on all the aircrafts.
