c130, the old bird progresses

  • If you would take the trouble to read the thread, you would see that it has had numerous progress updates and is still in development.X(

if you would take the trouble to understand the meaning of "still" since the thread had been silent for months plus if you're so annoyed by it don't reply.

fyi I have already gone through this thread and just wanted an update.

also since when has asking questions been such a problem? everywhere in this forum there is nothing but toxicity you ask a genuine question but instead get raged on by some dude who has nothing to do with it.

(no more replies to this keep this thread clean)

  • I think it's nice when the community occasionally asks - like for example here with the C130. At least for me, this is always an incentive to continue.

I feel the same when I look at created projects and see how many downloads there are. Around 30x my files for airport creation and 44x my adjustments for the pushback truck fit me. Currently I am curious how it will be with PCT from Jugac64 and then of course with the C130.

Don’t mind him, he’s known for throwing his rage across the forum for no apparent reason

  • Ladies please, If we are going to have handbags at ten paces can we please leave it on the World Cup football pitch :D:D

As Michael has said, its very much in development and is causing more problems than a real one ready for retirement, which could also apply to the development team. 2/3's of the team are not standing idly bye as we have started work on a top secret program and it is progressing nicely but 14,000 lines of code and lots more modelling does take its time. No I won't divulge the secret so no good threatening me with :love:.

Tell me already or I'll send my mother-in-law to your house 😂

  • This was actually something Ive been trying to figure out recently. An object moving independently from the aircraft itself

There are two cases where I know of independence:

    (1) Aircraft towing of gliders by the DR400 after the towing rope has been released.

    (2) Pushback with Pushback Truck without (!) Towbar.

In both cases, both objects can be moved separately within very narrow limits.

Yea I tried looking into those to see how they worked in my previous attempt, but couldn't figure anything out for my goal. The purpose was to see if I could not only create an independent object, but in specific camera views also allow that object to be the focus point (which I assume is related to [telemetry]) for basic device control inputs (throttle, rudder).

From the FS 4 perspective, do you think it's possible to implement anything like this, or is this something that's more of a backend dive

At the moment, I don't think that's possible.

But in the long run, I assume that something can be shaped in this direction, because there are already some situations where that would make sense. But I classify the priority as low, so that patience is certainly appropriate here.
