Cockpit lights and 747 TOGA button

  • To my dear Aerofly Group

I appreciate your continued work. I found some problems with Boeing's wide-body. During the take-off time with the 747, I couldn't press the toga button and activate the Auto Thrust. I've tried it in different ways, but it didn't work. I hope this can be fixed. During my flight at night, I found out that the DOME light and the Floor light in the 777 didn't work. I don't know if it's about the built-in models, just want to know if we can fix it or not.

And again, thanks for your hard work.

P.S. About 777's cockpit lights, there are some videos I found from YouTube.

  • Currently the 3D model of the 747 does not have the TOGA buttons modeled correctly and you need to press the black buttons on the most left or right thrust lever, which would be the disconnect buttons normally. As an alternative you can click an invisible clickspot on the MCP on the far left corner, below the F/D switch, left of the SPD button.

For the Auto-Throttle to engage and set takeoff thrust when pressing the TOGA buttons a couple of conditions have to be met:

    • A/T switch set to ARM
    • Flight director switches ON
    • Flaps extended (on some aircraft)
    • MCP speed set to a usable V2 value or V2 inserted in MCDU (on some aircraft)

Thank you for solving my problem. I will try it later, how about lights in 777:)
