Fuel Consumption and Gross Weight Issue in Aerofly FS Global

  • Hello,

I have noticed a major realism issue in Aerofly FS Global related to fuel consumption and aircraft weight.

    🔹 Problem:

During flight, fuel is not consumed.

Because of this, the aircraft’s gross weight never decreases.

As a result, takeoff weight and landing weight remain exactly the same.

FMC values (e.g. GR WT in PERF INIT or APPROACH REF) only change if the pilot enters numbers manually, but they are not linked to the actual aircraft weight.

    🔹 Real World Behavior:

Jet engines consume tons of fuel during flight.

This reduces gross weight significantly from takeoff to landing.

Correct fuel burn is critical for range, performance, approach speeds, and realism.

    🔹 Suggestion:

Implement real fuel consumption in the simulation.

Aircraft gross weight should automatically decrease as fuel is burned.

FMC GR WT values should update accordingly to reflect the real aircraft state.

This would greatly improve the realism of Aerofly FS Global, especially for long haul operations.

    Thank you.
