Hello everyone, I followed the official advice and replicated the glass texture of the dr400 sample aircraft to make the glass material, but it doesn't seem transparent...
Made of glass material

Do you have an alpha texture with the same name as the color, just replacing "_color" with "_alpha" like in the DR400 example?
Please also check the shader tags for the object.

I copied the alpha image texture of dr400 and tried to add it in blender, but it would be displayed when exporting tgi
channelName == NOT_FOUND -> Material: GlassFront

What you need are 2 files to export and not sure if caps are a good idea ether.
glassfront_color.* (what ever extension you are using ie bmp)
glassfront_color_alpha.*
You will also need to set a shader tag, as jet-pack mentioned, in your modelling software so FS4 knows its a glass material (interior and exterior) when it compiles the model.
You will only get 1 ttx file as the compiler combines the alpha to make it a 32bit texture
