Is a solar eclipse possible?

The seasons do not change in the sim so the daily apparent heights of the sun and presumably the more minor orbital inclination’s variation of that of the moon are rigidly fixed. If the slightly tilted (new) moon’s orbit of the earth never periodically aligns with the earth’s sun orbit there cannot be a solar eclipse in the sim. With the sun’s path being fixed in the sim the (full) moon’s orbit would need to precess for the earth to cast its shadow on the moon for a lunar eclipse.
A lot of if and presumption, in the real world they naturally cannot happen 26 out of 28 days even before both orbits need to match.

The sun and moon position is already simulated if the correct date is entered through the main.mcf file, but this is not accessible on mobile. A solar eclipse is not simulated yet.

Winter is approaching. Can you bring in some winter? It wouldn't be nice to see the ground looking lush and green while flying in winter.

Very Northern Hemisphere-ist 😜
