I saw a lot of other paint jobs on the community forum, and I want to know how they did it, is it with a plug-in, or something else? My device is an Imac
How to change aircraft livery
-
-
Oh, and I saw some people in the community have terrain that is not in the original version. What should I do? Or how can I get the plugin? (If so)

all addons are made by users and available on the site https://flight-sim.org/index.php?welcome-en/

So how do I use it?
-
Simply go on the site I sent here, go to filebase, find scenery or aircaft liveries for fs2, fs4 or mobile version and just download and install it (in majority of addons is written how to install them)

I'm so stupid, I don't know how to do it at all. After I downloaded it, I was confused about the next step. I asked Grok but he couldn't solve it either...

After you download a livery (for example, for the 787), go to your Aerofly FS 4 folder and open the Aircraft folder. Inside, find the 787 folder and paste the downloaded livery there. Then just start the sim, and it should show up automatically.

Don't worry, that's exactly how I felt years ago.

The most important thing is that you save everything extra exclusively in your user directory and never in the FS 4 directory.
At the beginning it was confusing for me that there are two times the directory "aircraft" for additions to airplanes:
(1) '/Users/user/Library/Application Support/Aerofly FS 4/aircraft'
Additions to aircrafts available in FS 4 belong here. It is important that the folder for the addition to an aircraft has the same name as the folder of the aircraft in FS 4.
(2) '/Users/user/Library/Application Support/Aerofly FS 4/addons/aircraft'
Additional complete aircrafts (e.g. from https://flight-sim.org/filebase/index.php? Filebase/155-addons-aircraft-fs4/ or https://github.com/krzysk1? Tab=repositories or https://www.aerofly-sim.de/download/download-aeroflyfs4) belong here.
Initially, I had also saved them under (1). But this can quickly become confusing and therefore I recommend this separation.

Who needs Grok when we have Michael

Can you have a mod of livery for Aero fly FS global?
-
Oh, that's a "hot topic" (as they say in German).
We have a corresponding directory in Flight-Sim.org, which also had content until a few weeks ago:
There was also some content until a few weeks ago. However, this was deleted when there were some inconsistencies with the rights to individual content. Since then, nothing new has been uploaded.

Hi, can anyone help.
Quite new to the Aerofly FS 4 product, but I found a new A320neo livery for Lufthansa 100 year centenary, and thought it would be cool to have in my FS 4.
I downloaded the zip file from SimCloud and a member on this forum advised:
"After you download a livery (for example, for the 787), go to your Aerofly FS 4 folder and open the Aircraft folder. Inside, find the 787 folder and paste the downloaded livery there. Then just start the sim, and it should show up automatically."
Well on my installation (Mac download from App Store), there are NO sub-folders under my "aircraft" folder, so not sure where to put the files.
My product is working fine and I can see all of the aircraft in my list, but they do not appear to be loaded from the "aircraft" folder.
Am I missing something, or is my install a little "suspect" though appears to be working.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Just checked my "tm.log" file and it states that:
0.65-aerofly: aircraft folder 'aircraft/': aircraft=44 ..... and I do see 44 aircraft in my application list, but where are they coming from ?

go to finder on your Mac, then on the menu on the top you'll find "go to" click on it then press "option" you'll see how library appears. click on library then search Aerofly FS 4. It will show you the app under "my Mac". Don't open the app. you will also see "library" next to "My Mac". Click on "library". there you'll find the Aerofly fs4 file. Click on it then, the aircraft file will appear. There you can put the livery to what ever aircraft you want. BUT: on my Mac the file is empty. I don't no if it works cause the file is empty just try it.
