Me262 no less! What a surprise! I had a flight on the Alps and it's a blast. A great model with a fully functional cockpit. Fantastic stuff! Thank you
A very nicely made airplane, indeed, and a great surprise. It would be nice to have a tutorial for the startup procedure, because I don't understand a word of German... ![]()
But I'm having this issue that I've never seen before:
And sometimes the sim freezes and crashes to desktop. Any ideas about what may be causing this?
Thanks a lot
Thank you very much for the Me262! I was turning off the PC after a long gliding flight in AFS4, when I read on Steam about the new aircraft. Launched the sim again
and tested it. It flights very well and the cockpit looks great, I hope I can test it in VR soon.
Thanks again! new aircrafts are always well received.

For my part, another problem arises, that of the assignment of the T key by default, the jump of the time, which causes a bug since this last update?
Have others encountered this similar issue?![]()
Thanks for the 262. Good looking plane. I do not have any problem with the T on my windows PC. It does advance time which is what is supposed to do I think.
With my FS 4 version 4.07.03.06 (20250729) with the update from 20250923 (!) on the Mac, the time change works via the keys (default: "T").
However, the operation of the PropellerSpeed via buttons does not seem to work - is that the same with others?
EDIT 20250924 1236:
The error is no longer present.![]()
Thanks to both AOB and ApfelFlieger for your answers regarding the "T" key.
As for me, and on Windows, I'm still experiencing this problem and at some point it causes the game to crash. Weird.
The problem is now resolved.![]()
Yes. The problem is also gone for me.
Thanks IPACS

I speak German, but I still don't understand the startup procedure. (I don't care because I want to fly with it!) (No hate against you)
Could the engines be made much more unpleasant, the throttles had to be delicately adjusted or the engines would flame out. They did not have modern electronic engine control.
Does it have working ADF? (the loop might have been for communication or a form of radar detector/warner).

It seems that the 262s in the simulator are already rebuilt oldtimers with modern engines. At least the "Messerschmitt Stiftung" version, which has General Electric CJ-610 engines.
Messerschmitt Me 262 – AIRPOWER24 6.-7. Sept 24
Yesterday I used it in VR and it is very nice to fly, I still doesn't landed it
but departure and flying was great! a nice addition to the AFS4 fleet.
If it is modern it could have a nav-com radio but I'd prefer original warts and all (relative) primitiveness. Nice engines would be a bit of a sell out.
Anyone make sense of the heading indicator looking thing?
I found only this:
Edit: And these:

I just wanna know where the eject is.
Model please?

I think he meant the ME262.
We will get ejection seats with the new Heinkel He 219 twin release.
