Hi Master Jan
Is there anyway to apply night lighting to a model as all of the aircraft disappear at night time. Even on a dark night we should still be able to see it. I have tried illumination and light but failed to make them visible.

The appearance of the aircraft comes down to the textures. A matt dark paint is not going to be visible at night but if you add some reflection or specular textures or increase their respective values then it should have an impact on how the aircraft looks in most light conditions.
For the A350 I also used some back scatter lighting, so a fake light cone that shines back at the aircraft while it's on the ground. This helps make the aircraft be brighter on the ground at least.
Aaahh, you cheated ![]()
Unfortunately most military aircraft tend to be matte, talking of Matt, I'll get his input on this.
Whilst not exactly connected with this issue I am experiencing floating wingtip lights in flight. I'm assuming this is to do with wing flex or lack of it in this case. As a guide how many segments does it need to achieve the desired effect or can it be decreased as the C130 would have quite stiff wings given its role and heavy treatment. I can feel some technical vibes coming my way Master...![]()

The bending body range parameters should be selected such that they match the half wing span, or close to the location of the wingtip lights. Then the bending should match the movement of the lights again.
