• The ME 262 had an issue with the engines not starting. We have fixed this in the beta version of Aerofly FS 4 on Steam and in the Apple Beta program. Once we have enough feedback, we will officially publish it.

    The Corsair and the Extra engine starts are ok, but I can't start the Me-262. Ipad9, public beta version.

    Unfortunately, I have to disagree. These two aircraft also no longer start on Android. The starter motor spins but doesn't fire. The pumps are on. This simulator is always worse. After every update, something else stops working properly. Renewing the subscription again under these circumstances is questionable ☹️

    The errors are certainly annoying. But if I see it correctly, the errors happen in the beta - and that's exactly what the beta is for, to find errors in time and to give them to the developers in a timely manner with all relevant information.

    Configurations:

    - MacBook Pro (16", 2024); Chip: Apple M4 Max; actual macOS
    - Controllers: | WinWing: URSA MINOR-Fighter-Joystick R, EFIS-L & FCU & EFIS-R | Thrustmaster TCA AIRBUS EDITION: 2x Quadrant, 2x Quadrant Add-On | Pro-Flight-Trainer: PUMA X | Steelseries: Nimbus+

    - iPad (12,9", 4th Generation, RAM: 6 GB); actual iOS | Steelseries: Nimbus+

  • I want to clarify that these startup issues also exist in the regular Android version. It's not just a Exclusive beta issue.It happens in cold and dark conditions and before the engine starts. It worked before an update. I constantly switch planes, so I notice things like this right away.

  • I found this guide on the Internet:

    The start is described on the 14ff.

  • The starter handles on the right can only be pushed, there is no klickspot to pull them…..

    ??

    I tested the Me262 on my Mac with the STEAM beta and on the iPad with the TestFlight version. From the iPad I get the two starter handles on the right only pressed and not pulled - and to start they have to be pulled.

    => I suspect it's because of that.

  • There is a small error in the display (applies to FS 4-STEAM-beta and FS Global-TestFlight):

    At "Before engine start" 2 small safety pins are not displayed:

    With version 1.05.09.02 (20251006) the push-fush function and the engine start now also work.:thumbup::)
