Hi all! Can anyone give me an idea how well Aerofly will run on my Mac:
Macbook Pro 2018, 2.6GHz 6-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 4.3GHz, with 9MB shared L3 cache, Radeon Pro 560X with 4GB of GDDR5 memory and automatic graphics switching
Intel UHD Graphics 630, 32Gt RAM, Sequioa 15.6.1
I understand that the bottleneck would be the graphics card?
Thanks in advance!

Ich fliege seit Jahren die FS-Versionen auf verschiedenen MacBooks und hatte noch nie Probleme. However, I can't tell you exactly how it works with your specific configuration.

@vhild We do no longer recommend to use Aerofly FS on such an older Mac computer, sorry. It might run, but performance won't be good and you might observe program crashes.

Is there a demo so I could test it with various settings?

@vhild No, not really. What you can do is purchase it on Steam for your Mac computer and if it doesn't work you can always get a refund. But like I mentioned, it's not very likely that it will work. The new Apple M chp computers are all suitable however, just in case you get an upgrade.

Update: Downloaded it, put detail at medium and frame rate at 60. Looks good and runs nicely!

vhild Ok, thank you for the feedback. Amazing to hear that it works. Could you please update your posting on Steam as well so other users also benefit from it?

Damn, if this game looks this good on these settings, I might have to upgrade my hardware!
I also want to say, coming from Flightgear, that Aerofly is pure joy to fly. Well done!

vhild Thank you for this feedback. Yes, Aerofly FS on the new and modern Apple silicon M chips runs much smoother than the older Intel chips.
