VelocityOne Flight Yoke Problem

I have noticed today that although I have gone through the settings options my VelocityOne doesn't seem to be getting any response from the aircraft e.g. the tail isn't moving left or right (A320).

I have flown previously and hadn't noticed this and assume it was working correctly previously.

I have a Logitech Xtreme 3D joystick and that works fine.

I have gone through the various settings and can't see anywhere that the yoke is causing movement.

I'd be grateful for any help on resolving this.

Also. just a quick addon question how do I cancel a flight if I have made an error so I can get back to the original setup.

Can I add an extra to my post. The settings display shows all the button for the yoke and when pressed the button is identified.

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way to assign the button to any function as can be done with MSFS and x-plane, and suggestions?

Have been investigating further and think I have found what I need to do.

I have found a way to assign the various buttons on the VelocityOne to aircraft/simulator functions but when I try to use them during a flight nothing happens. Very confused.
