Not what I want to see after an 8 1/2 hour flight from London to Miami

  • Basically like the buildings that appear on runway 10 at TNCM after doing a full flight except it’s trees Miami and probably everywhere else. The insane thing is it’s been over a year since that bug has been reported and acknowledged by the team but no action has been taken to fix it. I haven’t flown the sim in weeks because of the lack of content and boringness(just the truth) so after the new update came I decided I was gonna finally do a flight and I have to say that this immediately set me back from wanting to fly the sim. The worse part is this bug will be neglected by the team and likely won’t be fixed anytime soon. I play Aerofly for its realism and amazing graphics quality which means I try to imitate the flying and procedures in real life as much as possible. We all play for different reasons but there’s literally no point in me playing when I only do full flights and the likelihood of a tree appearing 20 from the runway or even on it as seen in the picture where it is going to hinder with the realism which I very much value. If this isn’t fixed soon I’ll be canceling my subscription not as some power move like it is going to affect the team but because it doesn’t make sense I spend money playing a sim that I won’t enjoy anymore because of a stupid bug. Pls fix this as soon as possible IPACS thank you

    No harm intended
    Regards BigD

I also share your dissatisfaction and irritation regarding bugs that have existed for months or even years and are never fixed. I myself reported several bugs by email many months and even years ago, but they are simply ignored without any explanation. Besides these trees and other strange objects that appear next to the runways or in other locations near airports, there are also power poles in places where they shouldn't be, making the scenery look ugly and strange. Another bug I reported about 6 or 7 months ago was the V/DEV indicator on Airbus family aircraft, which appears incorrectly when the aircraft is on the ground, during and after takeoff, and throughout the entire flight phase until landing. The V/DEV is the glide slope indicator for RNAV approaches on Airbus aircraft and should only appear during the approach after the approach function is activated. Other bugs I reported over a year ago (it will be two years in 2026) include strange colors on the overhead light switches of the Boeing 747-400, overlapping information on the Learjet MFD after a certain altitude, an incomplete FMC on the CRJ900, strange hills appearing in the middle of the runways at Brasília Airport (SBBR) in Brazil and other airports, the taxi light switch indicator on the Boeing 747-400 being off, making it impossible to identify the switch, and the ZJYX airport in China having no defined origin or destination, nor departure, arrival, or approach procedures. Besides these, I reported several other problems, all by email, almost two years ago, but none of them have been fixed, increasing my irritation and frustration. I had to stop sending these emails again or reporting these problems here on the forum to avoid being accused of spamming. Furthermore, when I complained in a thread about the delay in fixing these and other bugs, the entire thread, where important issues were being discussed, was closed by a moderator in an act of pure hostility and authoritarianism, as if there were a clear intention to silence users who make this type of complaint on the forum. On other occasions, my messages were automatically deleted in other threads without leaving a trace. It was also not explained why these messages were automatically deleted without the direct action of a moderator. We, as paying users of the simulator, cannot accept acts of hostility and authoritarianism from anyone, nor attempts to silence and repress users when they bring important demands to be debated here on the forum. The forum is meant to be a democratic and open place, not a dictatorship that aims to silence users through automatically deleted messages without any explanation or trace, and the closure of threads where highly relevant issues are being peacefully debated by users.

  • I would not expect ‘democracy’, the forum is a tool to serve the sim, a for profit enterprise. You are clearly annoyed but perhaps it’s better to get the anger across a bit less?
I hope they appreciate fault reporting and also wish they would try to explain ignoring certain topics, it would defuse frustrations but that is entirely up to them, it’s their show.

I would assume this is a similar issue to the Hong Kong pole problem. They have taken action to try and fix it, but sadly they couldn’t find a solution.

You have the right to be upset about it and cancel your subscription if it pushes you to that point. But if you need a workaround, I usually restart the app before I begin my initial descent so that the terrain generation refreshes and the trees/buildings don’t glitch like that when I land.

  • @Bigdflyz This issue should have already been fixed. Can you please tell us your version number, device details and quality settings? We have so far not observed it on our devices and test cases. It could be related maybe to certain issues and delays when using the streaming feature in certain countries.

@FlyWorld Please do not post your comments over and over again in various threads. We read it, it won't help to repeat yourself over and over.
