Bombardier Global 6500

  • I've been requesting executive jets for at least two years, but my requests have never been fulfilled. Other users have also requested the same, but have never been heard. I've even given up on it since it's a completely useless and pointless effort.

I’d like to see a modern private jet, but here’s your answer:

Major passenger aircraft should continue to have some priority. That makes sense. Although I’m not sure where aircraft like the Me262 stands….?

As you may have you read, if they collect a little coffee money, they will have the opportunity to publish things like the Me262, the Robin DR400, the winching and towing of gliders, thank God. Because besides passenger transport, there are many other beautiful versions of aviation. But sometimes, in order to develop not only airliners, they have to develop a lot of airliners to collect the coffee money to develop other aircraft as well. :)

For the past five years, only commercial aircraft have been added to the simulator. This isn't necessarily a bad thing; on the contrary, these aircraft are wonderful, and it's great that they've been added. However, the simulator has long suffered from a shortage of aircraft from other categories, such as executive and general aviation. Simulators don't thrive on just one category of aircraft, and diversification is necessary. It's not entirely correct to focus on a single category of aircraft and neglect others like executive and general aviation.

  • No, we had: DR400 single engine piston, ASK21 glider, Antares glider, UH60 helicopter and Me262 which clearly are not commercial airliners...

So quite a lot of GA aircraft have actually been added.

Can we have a new trainer aircraft? As the C172 and DR400 are fairly old and being replaced with DA40s/SR22s which can take up the role of aerotow

Yes, that's true, but I'm referring to other types of general aviation aircraft, such as single-engine and twin-engine piston aircraft, as well as single-engine and twin-engine turboprop aircraft. Some examples include: Cessna 400 TTx, Cessna Grand Caravan, Cessna G1000, King Air 360 and 360ER, Diamond DA42 Twin Star, Cirrus SR22, among others. Aircraft of this category are scarce in the simulator, and it would be interesting to bring at least two or three of these aircraft I mentioned to Aerofly FS.

The two main general aviation aircraft featured in Aerofly FS, the Baron 58 and the Cessna 172, have obsolete and outdated avionics and cockpits, although some countries still have them flying in their skies. These two Aerofly FS aircraft fly only using VOR and NDB, and these navigation aids are very outdated and have now been replaced by RNAV navigation, which is much more modern and done via satellite using an onboard GPS in the cockpit. An urgent update is needed for these two aircraft, including a redesign of their cockpits and the addition of Garmin GPS, since in the simulator these two aircraft only fly using VOR and NDB, being unable to perform an RNAV approach due to the lack of GPS. Since the first versions of Aerofly FS, these two aircraft have continued with obsolete and outdated avionics, without any updates. We are already in 2025, almost reaching 2026, without these two aircraft having received any avionics updates. The leading flight simulators on the market already feature general aviation aircraft with modern RNAV navigation technologies such as Garmin GPS and other systems. Aerofly FS needs to keep up with this evolution to avoid falling behind and invest more in other categories such as general and executive aviation.

  • I love visual flight rules (VFR); it's the most realistic way to fly, especially during the day and in good weather.

And of course, on a PC with a 27" screen.:)
