The turning angle on the pushback tug is way to short. It becomes almost impossible to do a proper pushback without overshooting the taxiway. The tug should also be able to pull the aircraft forward for better adjustments.

My experience with the pushback tractor is that it almost always fits when it is driven at the correct speed (step speed, max 3 kn). My FS 4 model of the pushback tractor therefore has one to 3 in set cruise controls.
