The A380 image showing “EMPTY” and “MTOW” really suggests that a new weight and balance system is coming.

If that’s the case, it could also mean we’ll finally be able to load passengers, cargo or fuel in a more realistic way.

Going from an empty aircraft to MTOW implies some kind of dynamic loading — which would be an amazing addition to Aerofly.

Perhaps this could indicate that weight and balance settings, as well as fuel quantity adjustments, may have been added to the simulator, which would be incredible.

When you say Vref 171kn, does the weight feature come into play? 😮

vref on the 777W currently is around 145-150 knots. a final flap down speed of 171 would imply it's landing faster due to an increased payload. weight and balance settings most likely confirmed at this point :)))

I've been really looking forward to this feature. It really needs to make me feel like the plane is loaded and heavy. It would be great for realism.

and with fuel consumption hopefully allowing us to use really high altitudes, where previously because every aircraft had assigned weight, it made it hard for step climbs during long haul flights to actually be functional

Is it possible that fuel consumption has been added to the aircraft? From what you've mentioned, there are indications that weight and balance settings, as well as adjustments to the amount of fuel in the aircraft, have also been added.

so we will either be able alter weight and COG of the 777 in aerofly or some other aircraft too...?

    Quote from alin_cristinel

    I don’t get it😭😭😭

    Update*

So after trying to figure out what’s supposed to be here, and burning my brain. I think what IPACS is trying to show us is that the speeds limits are changed. UP at 260, the aircraft is going to stall below 220 and the landing configuration is set to 171knots which means the aircraft weight and balance was changed. WHICH MEANS WE WILL BE ABLE TO DO THAT.

Guys I hope I’m not wrong, if I am, sorry 🥹

Now if we get both a new aircraft and weight & COG that would be the best Christmas present ever to be honest
