Kinda surprised that they strayed away from what they usually do (aka making the longest variant in this case the A321Neo)

    A321ceo is already released...

Yes. Aerofly FS 4 and Aerofly FS Global share pretty much all of the aircraft functionality, the most differences are in texture resolution and hardware capabilities.

Getting back to the topic, hahaha, Ground service still won't be available in this update, right? I remember a post I made about it where you mentioned it was on your radar. It would be really cool with this weight and balance update; in my view, it would make sense.

Ground service is a whole different topic, which would require vehicle paths on each airport and enough space at each stand/parking position to place these additional vehicles. It's on our wishlist but it's not being added this year. Plus, if we'd do ground service we would also like to see animated people walking and things like that, which can easily take months of work to get right.

    Jan

Well I hope that we can hear something about it next year.

The F18 ist getting cold and dark this update but there is still room for improvement there, so it's not the main focus.

    Not the Concorde right?

I feel like I'm the only person who actively flies this plane in Aerofly😭

Will there be fuel loss throughout the flight and will we have to change it manually each time, Jan?

The Concorde is getting heavier though. And it requires a very very long runway when fully loaded. Hopefully one day I can turn off those Concorde engines and add full cold and dark. Would be a lot of fun.

Fuel reduces when you use time skip but remains constant during flight for now. The C172 has fuel tanks that drain and the engine will eventually stop. But for the others this requires very time consuming research and implementation of the whole fuel system which will take many more months because of the shear number of aircraft.

So, during landing, we'll return to the menu and reduce fuel. We'll bring the aircraft to the weight displayed in Simbref.

    A321ceo is already released...

Is the A320neo being derived (and shortened) from the A321ceo’s model? Or will it use the A320ceo model?

I feel like I remember a developer said the A320ceo couldn’t get IAE engines because of something technical? So if the neo uses the A320ceo model and gets Pratt/CFM engines, could the ceo also get IAE engines one day?
