Hello, now that we have weight and balance and fuel loads, I think it would be appropriate to add external fuel pods to the F18 which would allowed for increases flight time and range. The F18 also looks better with fuel pods in my opinion.

Yeah, the F18 just looks weird without fuel pods. It would also be great if they added weapons pylons, with o without actual weapons attached on them.

We actually have prepared the 3D model for this but we didn't have enough time yet to implement a menu to select external loads such as additional fuel tanks. So for now the F18 remains in a clean configuration for maximum speed. Any additional fuel tank would reduce the top speed and would also need to be jettisoned to get the aircraft below maximum landing weight for the carrier. We're basically already at max certified weight for carrier landings. So additional programming is needed.
