I have to address issues on this forum…

  • Recently, this forum is filled with ignorance, unfriendly responses, and unhelpful requests. The devs seem to just delete threads requesting for fast fix. iOS still hasn’t gotten fix yet, and that fix ALSO seems to be incomplete.

I am certain that this must be the result of users begging for fast release of A350-1000, starting from right after the teaser’s beginning. After these, the devs might start to become reluctant to communication with users, because dealing with all these begging and meaningless requests are overwhelming serious topics and issue reports. And now they seem to worsen it by deleting all the desperate requests for fast fix, with bugs that severely ruins the experience unfixed(and maybe even ignored).

This forum must be the field of helpful communications and information, not childish people begging for everything. For all users, please be patient, thoughtful, and respectful for the devs. Before this situation worsens even more, we have to act differently and not destroy the entire community…

  • It’s basic logic. Aerofly becomes more popular then the number of users grow. Then the forum grows and more people will post.

But as far as I’m aware, the developer/staff team hasn’t grown. So how else can they monitor the forum to match this growth?

  • We just have to be patient with the devs. I remember few of my (and other people's) threads about issues in the past were deleted, and then the updates to fix them came out some time after. Jet-Pack also said a few times that the team acknowledges the issues even when they delete threads about it.

We've already seen this with the 787 engines and some other stuff from this December update. Now they're working to fix the others.

  • I think a problem for all of us is that we are a very heterogeneous community, old and young, experienced and inexperienced, speaking English and not speaking English, coming from different cultures, etc. Thus, it is inevitable that it can always come to misunderstandings quite quickly on its own. Therefore, I wish us little ones simply more serenity.

As far as the implementation of reported problems and wishes is concerned, I am very sure that IPCAS will also include them in their lists and prioritize them accordingly. Since I myself program both aircrafts and airports on the FS 4, I know how complex even small changes can be, because often significantly more code lines are affected than just those of the actual problem.

Therefore, I simply wish for more serenity, patience and understanding.
