First off, I wanted to quickly thank the development team for the December update—it was a real surprise and a big thank you!
Now, let me talk about two things:
1. Would it be possible to get a later version of the navigation database?
I’m not suggesting we always have the latest AIRAC data in the game. Instead, I was thinking of an annual update for the navigation database to keep it consistent. I’ve been having some trouble, like not being able to join airways because of missing fixes (which isn’t too bad), not being able to select the right SID/STAR because they don’t exist in the game (which is a bit annoying), and even not being able to select runways that actually exist (like runway 03R in ZHCC, which can’t be selected in the navigation menu…). It’s really messing with the overall experience.
2. Could we get accurate LOCs at airports in China?
I’ve noticed that almost every airport in China is a bit off from where it should be in the navigation data. I can’t start a flight from the navigation menu because the aircraft spawns in the grass or taxiways, I can’t follow LS indicators or use Copilot landing, or use the auto-land system because it flies straight into a crash. For months, I’ve only been able to make visual approaches with VASIS.
I hope I’ve explained my points clearly, as I’m not very fluent in English (sorry about that!). I really hope the sim gets even better!
