Am sorry if this is a duplicate, but I can't seem to find a detailed explanation why am getting this message in even though I make sure I put the flex temperature number in the performance page in the mcdu. Can someone please explain what getting wrong?

Are you sure that the flexible temperature is set in the MCDU? Did you manually insert the flex temp?

Yes.. Always. I also extend the thrust lever to the first click during takeoff.

The flex detent would be the second detent, after climb, not the first. The detents are CLB, FLX/MCT, TO/GA.
