• Hear me out.

I know water physics would be probably insanely hard to implement into the game, and for some lower end devices, be quite problematic.

To those issues, I have a few proposals (please note that I have no experience in game development, and if there is something I say that is wrong, please correct me). First off, water physics could be applied to only certain places of the map to somewhat test it out (maybe around tropical places like the Maldives for a nice scenery). Concerning the lag, it could maybe be added to FS4 first, as a sort of “alpha” to see how it behaves with general computers, and then be added to mobile. Mobile users would still be able to deactivate the water with the graphic setting (in the same way trees or buildings will show up depending of the setting).

I think this would add quite a bit, and cost developers quite a bit too. The pricing for the game considering how good it is, is pretty fair. Therefore, I think a few people would agree with me that we wouldn’t mind having to pay more (or maybe an extra fee for those graphics).

This addition would also be the occasion to develop seaplanes and sceneries (Great Lakes, high sea plane activity areas like the Maldives…)

Let me know what you think
