New bugs ? Issue with the last flights history (on career screen) and automatic flaps

  • Hi all,

First of all I wish you all a Happy New Year 2026 ! Have a lot of great take-off and landings 8o

Following the last update (with A320Neo/B787) I discovered 2 issues I didn't met before. I don't know if it linked to the update but I would like to share it.

And by the way congratulation to the fantastic job you are doing AND for the last update :*

The first one is about the history of flights we can found before on the Flights button on main screen and today on the career screen. I flew this morning a complete flight from gate to gate with a warm start-up and shutting down engine at the arrival and this flight is not appearing into the summary of my flight affecting my statistics. Do you have any idea of what is happening.

Second topic is probably a configuration issue but it is also new to me. After taking-off my flaps retracted automatically and did the same at landing with a automatic deployment a low speed. I guess this is automatic protection from the aircraft but this is new despite similar conditions (mainly automatic pilot with auto-thrust...)

    Any ideas are welcome !

    Thank you

  • i don't know about flights not being recorded, but for the flaps thing check it's not enabled auto-flaps in your assistant settings, that might be why. or if you were flying with the copilot enabled that would also automatically retract flaps

  • Apart from moving the menu for the recent flights to the career menu we haven't made any internal changes to it. When was the last flight that successfully recorded? If you do another flight but only a short 5min flight, is that showing up in the recent flights menu?

Regarding flaps: please check the new reworked assistance menu, if the flap assist is turned off. It may have been re-enabled by the update and stays active unless you turn it off in that menu again.

Hi Jan ! Thank you for the insights.

I made a short flight and it appears on the menu, no issue so I've lost one flight made this morning, no drama !

Maybe I've killed the application on my Ipad too quickly ? Will see in the coming days and let you know if the issue appear again.

Regarding the flaps you was right: Following the update many options moved to ON instead of staying OFF 8| I've updated my settings and it should be good now - Great support ! Thank you.

I've noticed many translation issues in the French version on the setting menus. It looks very word-to-word translation and not using the right technical wording. I can try to find some times to help you if needed. Let me know if I can help !

However thank you for your support :*

  • Make sure to return to the main menu before closing the app. Only when you return to the main menu is the flight progress saved, if you close the app during the flight it may not save it at all.

The assistance settings were completely reworked and set back to default because of that. Sorry for the inconvenience but at least you now have a better explanation and more granular control over what the assistant features are active.
