Landing the Concorde

  • Hello!
I was practicing landings with the Concorde with heavier loads... when I noticed that when flared and reducing throttle, the nose rises more than expected, causing the rate of descent to either become zero or positive, consequently using much more runway beyond the aim point!

Would this be due to aircraft, or is it because adding weight significantly changes the CG?

Changed the title of the thread from “question about concord” to “Landing the Concorde”.
  • Changing weight also affects the CG and even though the CG is now correct it's much further aft than before and feels unstable sometimes. I'll have to fine tune the flight model more. The delta wing is not as straight forward as a regular wing and has some strange behaviors at times.
