• I think it would be cool to add the B747-200/f, B747sp or B747-8i/f. The B747 is one of the aircraft that has been grounded for a long time. Among the commercial aircraft that arrived were several from the A320 family, B737, B777F and B787-9, but the B747... I think it would be cool to revive something of this iconic aircraft as well!!

  • I love the 747. My favorite virant is the 747-8. Hopefully it will be added at some point.

  • Building the -200 would take many months because the entire cockpit would have to be redone from scratch. I don't see this as a viable option, it's too much work. If we were to invest this much time we're already half way to a brand new aircraft.

The 747-8 has entirely new wings and engines, this also would take months, though a bit less than the cockpit. It can be done but it's still a lot of work.

Something that would be much easier actually is a 747-400F.

  • Is that a hint? 😁

You would need to add the ‘short hump’ pure freighter version of the -400F, just to point out. And the different engine variants?

It's no secret that the 747-400 is one of the oldest aircraft in Aerofly and that its 3D model and textures aren't the best quality. If they add the 747-400F and want to sell a for 2026 presentable aircraft, they'll have to improve some of the textures and the 3D model in certain areas. If they're releasing the 747-400F and do the texture and 3D model improvements, I'm pretty sure that they will also add the eventual texture and model improvements for the existing 747-400.

Saying that is like showing candy to a child, that alone is reason enough for a nation to celebrate excessive happiness. (Please make some versions with a small hump like the -200 ones and others without, it's so cool to vary lol)

    How about adding engine variants?

very nice ideia, I think the game could also highlight the roar sound! It provides a very good sense of immersion and makes my ears happy. I own an A350 and I thought the roar would be stronger in the cockpit

  • Me personally (although this is a stretch and slightly unrealistic) I would absolutely love to see the 747-8i added. It is my absolute favourite plane, a mix of the classic 747 model with new Boeing engineering and engines. It’s absolutely massive too and I love a huge plane. I’m just throwing this out there to maybe get some traction with like minded people and potentially get the attention of the Aerofly developers and plant the seed. The possibility is always open:) To be more realistic maybe even a 747-400 update? The graphics look a bit old and the plane just looks/feels and sounds a bit outdated compared to others. Just throwing this out there.

The 747-8 is my favorite aircraft. It's so beautiful 😍 If the 747-400F gets released at some time, I hope IPACS will use some refreshed textures for the 747-400F and will also add the refreshed ones to the existing 747-400.

You haveYes, I would like a 747-8 but you are right in what you say.

It is better that if they add it, it is calm and that they take their time as they have done with other aircraft.

What I would like more important is that they update the Boeing 747-400 which is already in the simulator

The 747-400 that's in the simulator as far as I know hasn't been touched since it was released for the first versions of Aerofly.

The red belly beacon light is misplaced, the tilt of the wing landing gear has more inclination on the real plane and retracting it will retract it at high speed, Updating the sounds of the plane as they did with the a350 and other aircraft, more liveries and as you say a cargo version would not be bad at all.

The 747 fleet needs to be renewed, whether by adding a 747-8I, 747-8F, or even a complete rework of the existing 747-400 in the simulator, which looks quite outdated for Aerofly's standards. I'm not saying the 747-400 in the simulator is bad, but rather that it urgently needs a rework, as well as new liveries.
