WINWING MCDU

    Hallo, ist es möglich die MCDU von WINWING mit dem FS4 zu betreiben. In den Einstellungen wird mir die MCDU ja angezeigt, nur nutzen im FS4 kann ich sie nicht. Habe im Forum schon einen Beitrag darüber gefunden. Dort wird gesagt das man sie nutzen kann. Aber wie? Mir würde die Eingabe Funktion reichen. Das heißt wenn die Tasten benutzt werden können ohne das auf dem Display der MCDU etwas angezeigt wird, da ich hauptsächlich VR fliege. Bin für jeden Tipp dankbar. Viele Grüße Bernd

    Currently, according to my experience in FS 4, it is like this:

    (1) The external devices are displayed in the menu SETTINGS - CONTROLS - INPUT DEVICES, but sometimes only with a limited number of detected BUTTON (but this is slowly becoming more).

    (2) The linking of the BUTTON (etc) of these external devices takes place in the menu SETTINGS - CONTROLS - ESSENTIAL/GENERAL/MULTI ENGINE. Unfortunately, only a part of the functions are available for linking there - and only these can be linked.

    (3) The links are stored in the file "gc-map.mcf". I have already tried to enter more links there. But this fails because unfortunately variables are used here that are not identical to those in the controls.tmd.

    In my opinion, it would be best if all occurring variables (<[string8][Message][variable]>) could be linked via a menu. But for me personally it would be enough if this were feasible in the gc-main.mcf. I assume that IPACS will expand this area, then there are more and more good external devices on the market.
