I am new to this sim, finding it has some really good features. But there is one thing that could be improved and it is that the buildings that are mid screen/view shimmer & it's worse in VR it is happening when flying at low altitudes ie 1,500 ft etc. Hi altitudes are no problem. As I like to fly VFR at say 1,500 - 2,000ft the shimmering is annoying, has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix?
Buildings shimmering, worse in VR?

Try with vulkan.

Or just correct with the oculus debug tool or the multitude of tools out there to fix shimmering for your headset.

I am using using Vulcan, I'm not sure what to adjust in the Oculus debug tool kit. I'm using my Quest 2 with the link wire and it work ok on X Plane 11 etc. FS4 is usable but I have to turn buildings to low which is not ideal. Any suggestions would be helpful?

Am not at home right now, so cant post my settings (I use Quest3) if you type, debug tool shimmering (into google) you'll find plenty of tutorials.
Adjustments I make for FS4 are different for FS2024 PMDG, or Elite Dangerous or my racing sims. It all depends on your setup and specs.

I have found a few tutorials, none so far have helped. 777 driver if you could post your settings that might point me in the right direction?

Am away till this evening (UK time) I'll PM you when I am home. Hopefully, someone else can help out in the meantime. Keep in mind my settings are for a high-end system (5080/ I9 CPU) So I cranked everything up high to reduce shimmering in VR. I also set the resolution slider to full right in the main Oculus home config screen. Settings I would never use with FS2024 or X-Plane

Understood, would still be good to see.
