Hello developer team, could you fix the error of not being able to edit the airports in the a320 family when the plane is in flight? It takes away realism from the simulator

For example, runway changes are not possible.

For example, runway changes are not possible.
And why would that be?
What's the error that you're seeing because we haven't changed anything and last time I checked it worked.

When the plane is moving or has already taken off, you cannot select another airport to land

Like in the real world this option is disabled intentionally. You need to select a new destination from the flight-plan page. Scroll to a wayoint in the flight-plan page, select it on the left side and then insert a new airport ICAO as the destination in the NEW DEST field.

This is once again a good opportunity to refer to the FCOMs, e.g. as offered here:

In real-world conditions, if there's a tailwind at the arrival airport, I need to change the runway direction, and this isn't something I can select via MCDU.

You can change the runway by changing the selected arrival/approach in the MCDU, just like in the real aircraft.

It doesn't work; the runway direction doesn't change when I make a selection. I only tried this on the A321.

At which airport, what approach is selected and which one are you trying to select?
