This is a quick demonstration of a mod I've been working on for a while, starting with the A350, then I'll move on to the smaller A3xx series. Just a brief video showing you one of the more (rare )severe failures that you can encounter.
A few things to note, as usual, VR vids are a little shaky, my sim seat is on a bass tranducer platform, so it makes the shakiness even worse. Apologies if its a bit rough to watch
I have tailored the random failures to be extremely rare, as a line pilot you will generally only experience minor glitches, but you should always be ready for something major to happen. So I have coded this to simulate reality; you can customise it yourself to force any failure or increase the chance of any major issues to show up, as demonstrated in this video.
I hope to have it released within the next week. It was primarily designed for myself, since the PC userbase seems quite small, but its been fun to create, and exactly what I wanted, So I'll upload for anyone who wants a reason to keep an eye on the instruments and conduct those take-off briefs for the unlikely event that things start going wrong.
The Mod also fixes a couple of things - Autobrake Off now sounds correctly at low speeds, and the brake temperatures are working like the smaller airbuses. A few other fixes I'll add to the readme on release. I'll move to the Boeings at a later date.
Cheers
