Does the copilot overlay not work in VR mode?

Ok. Is there a way to tell if the copilot is engaged or not when in VR? Or is there a way to toggle between the copilot modes without the overlay? Or are we just limited to "C" to toggle on/off?

The captain's sidestick gets locked out when the co-pilot is in command, and you also can't make FCU changes. I created a small mod that says (Priority left/right), depending on who is in control, but it's PC only. It would be great if the devs added something by default. Also, as a reminder on who is control:, if the F/O is in control, I only engage AP2 after takeoff; if I'm flying, it's always AP1
