Model errors, omissions, and suggestions

  • Dear Developer .3D Modeler

I have collected some model related questions and suggestions, hoping that they will be useful in promoting model improvement, only involving some popular models

with image quality set to Ultra.

    A320

The A320 cockpit font textures and the clarity of certain models need to be improved. Here is a clarity comparison between the A320 and A350 overhead panels.

    A350

The wing landing light model has reverted to a basic model.

It is suggested to upgrade the A350 external light models. There are 5 LED light models of the same shape distributed across the nose landing gear and wing roots.

Just like removing the three sensor antennas in front of the A350 windshield, upgrading the lights to make the aircraft more modern is also the mainstream trend

The spoiler area is too rudimentary, lacking models and high-definition textures

Light leaks in the A350 cockpit

The A350 main landing gear hydraulic lines are disconnected

  • 787 Series

787-10/-9: There is a massive black line on the fuselage area. Initially, I thought this part was an open gap designed to simulate the effect of oil and dust filling the crevice and turning it black over long-term use

But that is not the case in reality. The 787 treats this gap differently; the gap is completely sealed and does not accumulate significant stains even after long-term use. Therefore, this black line needs to be removed

Adjust the position of the static ports on both sides of the 787-9 fuselage

The 787-9 and 787-10 forward cargo holds are missing external cargo lights

Adjust the shape of the 787-9 landing gear slave doors

Remove the 787-9 main landing gear hydraulic struts

The 787 is equipped with two types of engines. Although a very small number of engines do not have the Spinner Spiral, the vast majority of engines do feature the Spinner Spiral drawn on them. Moreover, their spinners are different, so it is necessary to correctly simulate the Spinner Spiral for both the GEnx and the Trent

    737MAX

The nose landing gear model and proportions are incorrect

  • Please specify what device and what quality settings you use. The texture resolution is reduced on some devices which can't higher qualities.

Thank you for the detailed feedback on the 3D models.

Thank you for your attention to this. The device is Android 15.

Before releasing this report summary, I had already set the graphics quality to Ultra and the pixel density to 100%. On my phone, neither OpenGL nor Vulkan showed any severe display bugs. Both correctly displayed the texture clarity and lighting of objects, with only the frame rates differing.Theoretically, the A320 and A350 cockpit textures should be equally sharp. However, there is indeed a difference in their texture clarity. This may require investigation on your end. As far as I know, the clarity of the A320 cockpit is a long-standing issue. You can try starting the highest image quality and pixel density on both devices and using the same graphics API to observe the texture clarity of the A320 and A350 cockpits,The game version is the latest official release.

All A320 series aircraft, including A319, A321, Ceo and Neo, have issues with cockpit texture clarity

    Thank you.

  • Use the highest image quality and pixel density.

This issue only affects the A320 series cockpit textures. You can see that on the A350, the two graphics APIs (OpenGL ES and Vulkan) only differ in lighting and shadow effects. The cockpit texture clarity is almost unaffected by the choice between OpenGL ES and Vulkan.

But this difference is very obvious on the A320
