Inactive runway still seen as active ingame

I was playing Aerofly today and noticed at KCLT, the runway 23/05 was selectable as an active runway but in real life, the runway is completely inactive and is now a taxiway. 23/05 have been inactive for YEARS (Ever since US airways and AAL merged If I remember correctly.)

If I could have some backstory as to why this runway is now labeled as active, (because if I remember correctly it used to be labeled inactive and was a taxiway.) that would be very helpful.
