Hey guys, we have our beloved B747-400 and it would be cool if it became a freighter since the game only has one. The cool thing about this is that the B747 is a very old aircraft and could undergo remodeling before that, since it needs it. Another option would be the B737-500, since older versions usually become freighters!

If that were to happen, Ipacs would have to build a completely new cargo aircraft, and there we have the problem again. Too much work and time.
it wouldn’t cost as much time and money compared to the A350 as they pretty much have the sounds and exterior model and flight model in the sim? Just a few more electrical and hydraulic systems would need to be added/altered to make a 747F likewise for the 737

The game added the A321, despite its poor performance compared to, for example, the A319. Not to mention that this is an aircraft simulator, not an A350 simulator; obviously, the community needs other improvements. And yes, the B747 needs a rework, being one of the oldest aircraft in the game without significant updates. There are people who, despite how good the A350 is, keep asking for more details.

It's necessary, even if only for passengers, to stop and think that other aircraft have various versions, etc., while this old and "popular" one is abandoned.
I think everyone in here agrees that we need a 747 rework. But this would be a lot of work and cost a lot of money, and I don't think they will do it.
The only scenario, where they would probably do it, would if they add the 747-400F, which would require making new textures and sounds which they then can add to the passenger 747-400.

They have already updated textures and other details on a lot of other aircraft like the A380 and 787 so I don’t think it’s that difficult for the same to be done on the 747
The developers read the wish list; we just have to wait and see what comes in a future update. We can only make our wishes, and Ipacs will give us what Ipacs thinks is right 🤷
